Create Your Own Font With Calligraphr

Recently I was editing a ScreenCastsONLINE video that was submitted by the wonderful Allison Sheridan and whilst I normally find myself learning something about the application being covered, this video was unique.

As I started trimming some of the content, I spotted something in the background. There was a font that I didn’t recognise and it was little wonder, as it was a custom font Allison had created that was based on her own handwriting.

I consider myself reasonably adept at most things tech, yet for some reason this blew my mind as I didn’t even realise this was a thing!

So I carried out some deep and lengthy research (which means I queried ChatGPT quickly) and found out that the process of creating a custom font is extremely simple.

You just need to check out Calligraphr, download a template that you fill in with your own letters and numbers, then upload and create a font. So easy.
